My Easter Sunday entry promised a little something more on what Christ’s Resurrection means to me.
At church on Sunday, my discipleship huddle-mate Kevin and I shared personal testimony during the sermon around what the resurrection means to us. I’m a better writer than public speaker (as you’ll plainly see here), but I’m humbled to go on record with these defining truths in my life.
(I was hesitant to even share this… I’m not a preacher, I’ve never been to seminary, and I certainly don’t have all the answers. But I promised full-disclosure transparency on this blog – so here it is. Jesus loves you, I want you to know about it, and the best way I know how to tell you is to share my heart.)
I snagged this video from our church website, so what you see embedded below is the entire service. If for some crazy reason you’re not into brass quintets, pipe organs and heavenly choirs, the sermon starts at exactly 35 minutes in.
And if you’re super pressed for time, my testimony starts at 47:56. I know you’ll watch the rest when you have time.
But if you watch nothing else… at least jump ahead to the New Orleans-style rendition of Amazing Grace at 1:19:37. Mind blown.
